The Autodesk Designathon 2024 <\/strong>was an amazing event! The two-day online student competition to design a green tomorrow brought together 103 teams consisting of 270+ students who represented 29 educational institutions in 12 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Designathon asked the students to work together in teams to come up with solutions to manage waste collection using their modelling and design skills. The competitors designed waste collection vehicles that can operate on both land and in the sea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team ROBOHOLICS <\/strong>from Estonia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We selected this project as the first-place winner due to its exceptional 3D modelling, which is both detailed and highly successful. The design realistically accomplishes the given tasks and clearly explains how the device operates.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We like its innovative autonomous driving and self-balancing design, combined with a streamlined shape and sustainable features like a retractable solar roof. The multifunctional capabilities, including systems to suck in water and dirt, along with propellers for movement, make it a standout entry.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
