Designathon 2023 organised on 15 \u2013 16 December was a fantastic experience. We saw students of industrial design and engineering from around the world come together for a two-day international online design competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1 <\/strong>introduced the participants to Autodesk Fusion, showing them workflows they\u2019ll use in factories and design practices. They gained insight and practical skills \u2013 and had fun in the process!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2<\/strong> was all about competition. This competition sees the students working together in teams putting day one\u2019s learnings to the test.\u00a0They responded to a task set by a team of experts to model a product for growing crops with renewable energy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students’ entries in the competition are now with our expert judging panel.\u00a0They\u2019ll be reviewing and assessing against the judging criteria.\u00a0Their decisions will be announced early in January 2024 to recognise three top teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
