KnowledgePoint Connect enables one of the most sought-after IT skills in Australia and New Zealand
KnowledgePoint | CONNECT has been announced today as the Unity Technologies Learning Services Distributor for Australia and New Zealand. Over the next two days, KnowledgePoint | CONNECT will be meeting with potential partners at Unite Sydney, Unity’s annual developer conference for the region.
This announcement follows the appointment of KnowledgePoint Connect as Unity’s Learning Services Distributor in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in December 2018 and its immediate success in building the Unity Authorised Training Partner network in that region.
“The speed in which we are signing up new Unity Authorised Training Partners and moving into new countries really highlights how in-demand Unity developer skills are and the synergies between our two companies,” said Richard Lane, Chief Learning Officer at KnowledgePoint Ltd.
According to Burning Glass market data, Unity skills are experiencing a 35% growth rate in the next two years. Unity Learning Services Distributors are part of the Unity Authorized Training Partner program and are responsible for providing Authorized Training Partners with the tools they need to ensure Unity training is accessible to people everywhere, across all regions, in local languages and learning cultures.
“We look forward to expanding KnowledgePoint | CONNECT’s reach to Australia and New Zealand so they may replicate their EMEA success in bringing new training partners to the Unity Authorised Training Partner program,” said Anuja Dharkar, Head of Learning, Global Education, Unity Technologies.
Unity’s Authorised Training Workshops that Partners are able to include in their own class schedules, are developed by Unity and are instructor-led classes that combine the best in quality, expertise, and convenience for learners to increase their Unity knowledge. Unity Workshops are current, interactive, and easily accessible via the MyLiveBook platform; and with more and more workshops becoming available, those barriers are being knocked down.
Because of this partnership, students have more access to learning products, certification, partner support, and marketing power in Australia and New Zealand. Unity skills are becoming easier to acquire, enabling creators everywhere to learn from the best and take advantage of a growing list of available courses.
